The 4 Types of Belmont Eurus

Traditional Hanging Type

The Eurus series 1 traditional hanging type boasts a variety of key features. The over patient arm has a vertical motion range of 525 to 1505mm, allowing lots of flexibility. A more robust construction has also been implemented, allowing up to 200kg of weight.

The S1 holder type also possesses an assistant holder, a safety switch system and optional outlets, where the assistant holder can hold between 2-4 handpieces. Added to this, the chair has a concealed enclosure, safety LED indicator, low-level warning, concealed chair utility panel and vacuum system.

Continental Rod Type

The rod type reduces strain and the need for dentists to move so frequently. The chair makes it possible to pick up a handpiece and begin treating the patient immediately, eradicating the need to reposition throughout treatment.

The rod type comes with a continental delivery system, which comprises of 900mm long rods and hoses, thereby making it easier for the dentist to treat patients from the 8 o’clock position. Moreover, the long reach allows dentists to treat patients from the chest position and the chair’s side position, making the rod type one of the most adaptable options, suitable for various treatment styles.

The continental rod type also comes with smart lighting in the form of a 921 operating light, with a range of intensities to select from. Also, precision foot control has been implemented. Despite the compact size of the foot controls, they have a range of capabilities that ensure the dentist can remain working hands-free, such as turning on/off the coolant water, spray air and chip-blower handpieces. There is also a safety cut-out switch and stork controls, all done through foot control.

Swivel

The main characteristic of the Belmont Eurus Swivel Chair is the swivel feature. This is moveable solely through the use of foot controls. With a swivel capacity of 210 degrees, cable-free base rotation and an auto-return feature this is a highly adaptable option perfect for narrower surgeries. Additionally, a last-position memory function helps speed up the patient rinsing process, before needing to return back to operation position.

As the Eurus swivel can be adjusted in to the knee break position, this is beneficial for patients who might have trouble getting into a fully reclined static chair. This feature opens up the opportunity for patients to sit down first and then recline. Added to this, the rotary mechanism makes it perfect for smaller, narrower practices where space may be an issue. Here, the chair can be rotated to make extra room where necessary.

The Eurus swivel also has an increased maximum weight capacity of 165kg, adding to the longevity of the chair and making for a more stable, reliable option for your dental practice.

Flexible Delivery System

The Belmont Eurus Flexible Delivery System allows you to combine a standalone chair and fixed cuspidor with the option of either a mobile cart, or a cabinet mounted modular delivery system. The mobile cart is smooth gliding, adjustable in height and incredibly stable, fitted with free running castors, helping it to glide across surgery surfaces easily. The cabinet mounted module is identical to the mobile cart, and comes with an adjustable delivery arm. This delivery arm keeps the unit head totally horizontal with zero drift.

Whichever option, the treatment centre can be configured to right-handed or left-handed. This feature helps bring greater flexibility, as well as more installation options, making it an ideal option for smaller surgeries.
