Dental Operating Lights

Take time to understand the differences in the dental light that you are looking to purchase. LED lights have completely transformed the user experience in recent years providing a 'cool' light, with a bulb that doesn't need changing. Look for a light that not only floods the oral cavity with a light distribution that reduces shadows, and in turn eye fatigue. Consider a light with a high colour rendering index that accurately reflects colour for soft and hard tissue diagnosis. Some lights also have a useful composite mode, which illuminates without curing photo-initiated resins.

Delivery Units

When observing chairs and treatment centres in surgeries many will opt for the delivery to be chair mounted. However, sometimes its worth considering a side, rear or cabinet mounted delivery for a surgery.

Rear delivery systems support those whose team work 4-handed. Cabinet mounted units ensure that the chair itself looks less intimidating for patients, with the delivery systems tucked away until treatment begins. Speak to our surgery design team about options.

Intraoral X-rays

Intraoral X-rays are an essential part of of any practice used to expose film, digital sensor or phosphor plate sensor. This enables you to easily capture radiographs for diagnosis or documentation. These can be taken safely within the surgery and the smaller focal point, defined exposure times and collimation ensure quality imagery with low radiation levels. Whether you opt for the traditional wall-mounted unit or for a handheld portable x-ray both we'll ensure your surgery and treatments run efficiently.

Implant & Surgical Units

Implant Motors are a valuable resource for the placing of implants. They deliver very high torque levels while running at low speeds, which compares favorably to most air-driven handpieces that run fast but have less torque at lower speeds. Many implant manufacturers themselves have developed their own units to use alongside their implants, however other units offer you the flexibility and have programmes to set up the drilling protocol for each implant or getting the hardness of the bone that you’re milling. Another important feature to look for with these units is their ability to fully document your treatment and traceability.
