Annual Service Contracts, from as little as £36 per month

Hague Dental Supplies started out as a dental engineering firm in 1996, and engineering remains our core service offering. Our team of highly qualified, certified, and experienced dental engineers are available to support your practice and your equipment.

The unpredictable nature of technology and high maintenance costs has directly impacted on how progressive dental practices plan for, and procure engineering services, namely:

More practices are moving from reactive engineering only to Pre-planned Maintenance (PPM).

Fixing the cost over a fixed term, which makes it easier to budget.

Reactive maintenance, which is
hastened by failure, results from a lack of preventive maintenance. As an alternative, proactive maintenance can avoid the underlying conditions that lead to equipment failure and degradation, keeping your practice running optimally.

In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, HTM and HSE regulations, most manufacturers now recommend that you service your equipment annually; this is sometimes called Pre-planned Maintenance (PPM).

Benefits of Pre-planned Maintenance

Increases equipment reliability

Prevents unexpected and expensive breakdowns

  • Reduces surgery downtime
  • Increases longevity of equipment

FAQs

A dental engineer services and repairs the equipment in a dental practice, ensuring that it maintains a good working condition. Our Dental Engineers cover a full range of solutions to support UK practices and to keep them up and running efficiently and effectively.

Maintenance is scheduled at a predetermined interval e.g. PPM Pre-planned Maintenance occurs once annually on your dental equipment to make sure it stays in top form. Service is when you need something specific, and in addition, fixed outside of your regular maintenance.

PPM Pre-planned Maintenance occurs once annually, in month 12. When our engineering team visits your practice to carry out scheduled servicing, they will deal with all your equipment in one sitting to minimise disruption and downtime.

Yes, and at a time that suits you. We offer an out-of-hours service to minimise disruption and downtime. Advanced booking is essential, and the service is subject to a surcharge.

No, we’re an authorised dealer for, and are certified to work on selected premium brands; we stock an extensive range of spare parts for these brands.

No, due to the unpredictable nature of technology, it is advisable to work with one engineering company for all engineering services as the attending engineers will become more familiar with the specific equipment in your practice. Different equipment items are often linked e.g. suction pumps and chair packages, therefore it’s best for one engineer to take responsibility.
