Our Story

Hague Dental was founded by Jim Hague in 1996.

We are a Dental equipment company who specialise in dental engineering, project management, dental practice design and planning of Dental surgeries. We offer our clients a team of dental engineers and technical sales staff whose knowledge of dental equipment and the industry is second to none.

Hague Dental started out as an engineering firm, and our team of experts have the knowledge and experience to offer you the right choice for your surgery.

Added to this our experience in the building trade which enables us to support you with the architectural aspects of practice and surgery design and installation.

My intention when setting up Hague Dental Supplies was to focus on the customer, what kind of service I would like to receive if the shoe was on the other foot.

Although the company has grown considerably over the years we still provide our customers with support that is focused on the simple objectives of good communication and reliability from skilled personnel.

Our reputation is vital to us! It has been built up over many years by giving rapid responses, short lead times as well as the very best equipment at very competitive prices. With a large stock, engineers in abundance and loan items if necessary we keep surgery down times to an absolute minimum.

Jim Hague launches Hague Dental.Working on his own, he focuses on providing effective and efficient engineering. For the next 8 years he builds his reputation for reliability and quality.

1996

1998

The first Hague Dental showroom opensJim proudly opens the door to the first Hague Dental equipment showroom located in South London.

Main office and Southern showroom opensAs the team grows, Jim decides to open a main office and 2nd showroom in Surrey to make it easier to service clients in the South.

2009

2011

Hague Dental partners with BelmontBelmont appoints Hague Dental as a full authorised dealer. Another great relationship begins.

Jim works with Kings Community HealthKings Community Health becomes a client and is still a client to this day

Paul Churchouse joinsPaul joins Hague Dental and later becomes Technical Director. He has seen Hague grow from strength to strength and still works with Jim today.

Hague Dental joins BDIAFormerly known as the BDTA, Hague Dental become members of the BDIA

2005

James Fletcher joins Hague Dental James joins the growing team and moves on to become Hagues’s first full time Project Manager.

Hague Dental partners with A-dec A-dec partners with Hague Dental to be a full authorised dealer - the start of a long relationship.

Kirsty joins the businessKirsty joins the team full-time working on marketing and HR.

Lee and Judy join the teamLee Helmsey joins as Engineering Manager and Judy Troughton joins as office manager and becomes Finance Manager.

Hague Dental opens the largest dental equipment showroom in the UKThe Hague Dental Practice Design Centre and HQ opens it’s doors. Located near Gatwick, it is the largest equipment showroom in the UK, helping dentists demo and compare a vast array of new and used products.

2013

2014

Hague becomes BCAS accreditedThe Hague Dental Engineering team become BCAS accredited for compressors.

Hague hires a full-time CAD designerAs the design side of the business grows, Kyle Turner is hired as Hague Dental’s full-time CAD designer.

2015

Hague bags a win at first ever BDIA awardsHague Dental celebrate their first win at the industry’s first-ever British Dental Industry Association Awards 2015 for ’Customer Service Provider of the Year’.

Estelle and Jose join the teamEstelle Clarke joins the team as Head of Customer Service and Jose Tavares as Senior Engineer and is now a Trainer.

2016

Hague win triple awardsHague win ‘Customer Service Provider’ for the second year. Plus a highly commended award for ‘Team of the Year’ and ‘Outstanding Business’.

Customer Service Provider win number 3Hague Dental proudly wins ‘Customer Service Provider of the Year’ for the third year running at the 2017 BDIA awards.

2018

Hague Dental partners with W+HHague Dental are invitied by W+H to become ‘Premium Partners’. It is one of the first partnerships offered by W+H in the UK.

’Team of the Year’ winner Hague Dental is delighted to win ‘Team of the Year’ at the BDIA awards 2018. The winning formula continues.

2019

The Hague Team keeps growingHague Dental employs a second full-time Project Manager, Ross Southwood; Warehouse Manager, Tom Evans; and Chris Lehr, in Sales.

The Hague Team win big!Again, Hague win ‘Customer Service’ award at the BDIA awards to make it an incredible 4 out of 5 years. We also win ‘Service and Repair Company of the Year’ and were honoured to recieve ‘Outstandng Business of the Year’ and Highly Commended ‘Team of the Year.’.

2020

Hague launches digital solutionHague Dental develops a digital solutions arm and appoints Artur Silva as Head of Digital to develop new partnerships with manufacturers.
